The New York Association of Black Journalists is excited to confirm the return of our annual awards gala to honor the best and brightest in New York journalism.
NYABJ’s Scholarship & Awards Gala is set for September 2016. As we finalize the details and the gala location, we want to give editors, reporters and producers a chance to start thinking about the work they’d enter in this year’s competition. Our contest will open for entries on May 1 and close on May 31. (THE DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO JUNE 7!)

The competition is open to all professional (staff and freelance) journalists in print, broadcast or online news media.
