School Journalism Workshop
Planning for NYABJ's 12th annual
high school journalism workshop,
one of the chapter's premier programs,
is underway. The workshop, which
has produced some of the country's
best young journalists, is held
for eight consecutive Saturdays
in the spring at Long Island University's
Brooklyn campus.

Hall
of Fame Inductions
NYABJ is soliciting help with the
planning of its Chapter
Reunion Benefit, which will be
held at 7 p.m. in Harlem in the Langston
Hughes Atrium of The Schomburg
Center for Research in Black Culture.
The benefit will feature NYABJ's first
annual Trailblazer Awards
to up and coming journalists and inductions
into its new Hall of Fame for members
who have served the organization.
To join the planning committee, please

Program Committee. The benefit follows
NABJ's
Region II Meeting, "The
African American Press," 1 to
5 p.m. the same day at Columbia University.
