We
have created a new email address
just for sending information about
journalism jobs, internships and
fellowships. The new address is
nyabjlistings@yahoo.com.
Please don't hesitate to send us
what you have in a timely fashion,
that is, so we can get the
information out to our membership,
especially students, with enough
time for proper follow through. We
hope to have the new listings up
soon. Remember to check back often.

FREELANCE
Glamour
The magazine is looking
for ambitious and outgoing women
of African-American
heritage (as well as a few men)
to do freelance stringer work. The
assignments
usually involve finding potential
candidates for magazine articles,
gathering anecdotes for stories
and survey work. This is not a writing
job
specifically. But we need people who
are professional and articulate
and can edit
the stories that their sources provide.
Because Glamour typically targets
women
between ages 20-34, we're looking
for people who are in that age group
or have
lots of friends in that age group. If
interested, please contact
Caroline Bollinger.
