New NYABJ Media Watch Listserve
The chapter has created a Media Watch e-mail list to serve as a forum through which members can discuss developments in media that affect coverage of our community. Click here to join.

The NYABJ Media Watch Committee coordinates the chapter's goals to sensitize the media to institutional racism in coverage of news events, to expand coverage of the black community in America and abroad, and to monitor and seek compliance with existing EEOC and FCC laws.

Also, each month, the Media Watch Committee hosts a show that airs on Manhattan cable. Members who are interested in joining the committee are invited to attend the taping to learn more about the committee. The taping is held at Manhattan Neighborhood Network's Studios, 537 W. 59 between West End and Amsterdam Avenues.
